Ingredients
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 1 Honey Garlic BBQ Roast or Rub Recipe Base
- 1 Mingle BBQ Sauce packet
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Optional:
-
Mash potato
Directions
First, remove the membrane from the ribs. Rub your pork ribs thoroughly with the Honey Garlic BBQ seasoning and 2 tbsp of BBQ sauce. Make sure every inch is coated.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining BBQ sauce and the brown sauce until smooth.
Time to build the flavour levels in your slow cooker:
Bottom: Spread 1/3 of your sauce mixture across the base.
Middle: Layer in half of your ribs, then top with another 1/3 of the sauce.
Top: Add the rest of the ribs and finish with the final 1/3 of the sauce.
Cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours. You’ll know they’re ready when the meat starts pulling away from the bone.
Plate your ribs over a bed of creamy potato mash. Don’t forget to drizzle the extra sauce from the slow cooker over and top with a sprinkle of fresh parsley!
