Ingredients

Mince Filling

30g x Mingle’s Shep Pie Seasoning
1 x tbsp olive oil
1 x brown onion, finely chopped
1 x carrot, peeled, finely chopped
2 x celery sticks, finely chopped
2 x tbsp Tomato Paste
500g x lamb/beef mince
500ml x beef stock
1 tbsp plain flour

4 x desiree potatoes, peeled, chopped

50g butter
125ml milk

1 x cup cheddar cheese

Directions

Boil potatoes until tender and then mash with butter & milk. Season with salt & pepper or Mingle’s Garlic & Herb. Set Aside.
Heat olive oil in a pot & brown mince. Once browned, add onion, celery, carrot, tomato paste & 30g of Mingles Shepherds Pie Seasoning. Cook for 5 mins.
Add mixed veg & stock. Simmer for 20 minutes
Layer your mince mixture into an ovenproof dish. Top with potatoes & grated cheese. Cook the oven at 200° for 15 mins until cheese is golden.
