Ingredients
-
750g white potatoes
- 1 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tbsp Mingle Garlic Herb Seasoning
- 1 cup mozzarella, grated
- ½ cup tasty cheese, grated
-
Parsley
-
1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ onion, diced
- 1 tbsp Mingle Garlic Herb Seasoning
- 300ml thickened cream
Cream Sauce:
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Peel and dice the potatoes. Boil for about 10 - 15 minutes, or until fork-tender, then drain thoroughly.
- Place potatoes in a large bowl, add the butter and milk, and use a potato masher to mash until completely smooth and lump-free.
- While the potatoes cook, heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Sauté the diced onion until translucent. Pour in the cream and Mingle Garlic Herb Seasoning. Stir until the sauce slightly thickens, then remove from the heat. Mix a few tablespoons of the cream sauce into the mash until thoroughly combined.
- Transfer the seasoned mash to a baking dish and spread evenly. Pour the remaining sauce over the top, then sprinkle generously with cheese. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crunchy. Serve topped with fresh parsley.
