A smoky, beefy one-pan situation that simmers, sizzles, and doesn’t do subtle.
Loaded with beef, beans, smoky BBQ swagger, and enough attitude to slap onto nachos, potatoes, or straight into your mouth.
Ingredients
- 750g beef mince
- 1½ brown onions, diced
- 1½ cans (600g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1½ cans (600g) diced tomatoes
- 30g Mingle American BBQ Rub
- 1½ tbsp tomato paste
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- Optional toppings: sour cream, jalapeños, grated cheese
Directions
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat.
- Sauté onions until soft.
- Add beef mince and brown it well, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in tomato paste and Mingle American BBQ Rub.
- Add beans and diced tomatoes.
- Simmer uncovered for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and rich.
- Serve hot with your favourite toppings.
