Ingredients
- 250g mozzarella block (cut into thick slices or sticks, will make 5 slices or 10 sticks)
- ½ cup of flour
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- ½ tbsp Mingle Garlic & Herb Seasoning
- Olive oil
- For the dipping sauce: 1 tsp Mingle Garlic & Herb Seasoning, mix 1 tbsp Greek Yoghurt, juice of ½ lemon, pinch of salt
Directions
Prep Mozzarella: Cut the cheese into blocks or sticks (about a finger’s width) and freeze for 1 hour - this helps keep them from melting too fast when cooking.
- Place flour, egg and breadcrumbs into three separate bowls.
- Mix Mingle Garlic & Herb Seasoning into breadcrumbs.
- Coat each stick of cheese in flour - egg - breadcrumbs. For extra crispiness, repeat egg + breadcrumbs.
- Place back into freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, place onto a tray and spray with olive oil. Airfry at 180C for 6-8 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Whilst they are cooking, make your dipping sauce.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce and enjoy.
