Avocado Pesto Dip

Such a simple pesto dip free from nasties! You have to be careful of the store- bought dips. These usually contain vegetable oil, preservative 211 and artificial colours in dips, so this homemade dip is a great, healthy alternative.

Serves 1.

What you need:
  • ½ a large avocado

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp water

  • ½ lemon, juiced

  • 1 Tbsp Siena Garlic and Herb Seasoning (or more if you like more garlic!)

  • handful of fresh basil leaves

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • parmesan cheese to serve (optional)

How to make:
  • Combine everything into a small food processor or blender and blitz until smooth and creamy! Toss through zoodles or some gluten free pasta, serve with parmesan cheese (optional).
